Mission Statement
TINY LIGHTS SHORT FILM FESTIVAL @ LATEA is dedicated to promoting innovative artistic excellence by giving the filmmaker’s vision an opportunity to be seen by all people. We accept films in every genre, on any topic from anywhere on earth. Our main goal is to encourage, nurture and enrich the human spirit through the power of film.
Submission of films:
TLSFF@LATEA starts accepting films April 9, 2012.
Earlybird Deadline: May 31,2012
Regular Deadline: Aug. 31, 2012
Late Deadline: Sept. 31, 2012
WAB Extended Deadline: Oct. 17,2012
Notification Date (Finals); Nov. 7, 2012
Festival Dates: November 25-28, 2012 at the LATEA Theatre in New York City.
Films are accepted from April 9th, 2012 through October 17th, 2012.
Approximately every three weeks the films that get accepted into the competition get a screening at the LATEA theatre.
At this stage the audience votes on each film. Each film stands on it’s own. It is not in competition with any other film.
At the end of this process some films move on to the next level the: Semi-Finals.
The process begins again, moving more films to the final level: The Finals. At this stage the films get voted on by two groups, the audience : Audience Choice Awards and by a group of professionals in the industry: TLSFF Professional Excellence Awards. For More information and submission go to:
